A 17 ft deep-vee cruiser from Glen-L Marine with a full 18 degree deadrise cushioned by lift strakes, two full-length vee berths, a galley area, room for a head and a big cockpit. Practical Boat Owner reported one planing easily on a 60 hp outboard. Sheet plywood, about 750 lb, outboards to 135 hp or a stern-drive inboard. Glen-L publish a beam of 7 ft 6 in and a hull depth of 3 ft 4 in.
Headroom below is 3'-10". The hull is a full length deep vee with lift strakes, approx. 18o deadrise at the transom, developed for sheet plywood planking. They draw a matching trailer for her. A conventional plywood build with a small cabin. Budget 400 to 700 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
