Bullet
Designed by Glen-L Marine
An 11 ft 3 in or 12 ft 1 in mini ski boat from Glen-L Marine shaped like a bullet and quick like one, with enough vee and depth for comfort, real seats for two and the ability to tow a skier on a short or long shaft outboard. Quarter-inch sheet plywood over a few sawn frames, built upside down, about 140 lb.
Low cost, quick and easy, with full-size patterns for both lengths. Allow 120 to 220 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Bullet actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
