A 15 ft 9 in stitch-and-glue center-console skiff from Glen-L Marine, an arc-bottomed hard-chine hull with a vee entry, about 350 lb, for an outboard to 40 hp. Virtually every contoured part including the planking comes as a full-size pattern with layouts that use standard sheets with almost no waste. Glen-L publish a beam of 6 ft 3 in and a hull depth of 25 in.
They put the usual load at 3 to 4 people. The hull is an arc bottom hard chine in mid-to-aft areas with rounded side/bottom vee'd sections forward. Developed for FAST-G Stitch and glue sheet plywood construction. They draw a matching trailer for her. Fast-G stitch and glue makes this a simple first powerboat. Budget 150 to 300 hours. Glen-L sells stitch-and-glue and fiberglass kits and a build DVD for it. Real hours from logged builds show below.
