Delta King
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 33 ft houseboat from Glen-L Marine with private sleeping for three couples, an apartment-sized galley for full-size appliances, an enclosed head with separate shower, a 360 degree helm with sliding doors and full walkaround decks with bulwark. Garvey hull with a vee forward in sheet plywood; outboards or stern drives, about 10,540 lb.
Big flat panels and a house on top make it more carpentry than boatbuilding, but a lot of it. Expect 2,500 to 4,000 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
What building a Delta King actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
