Kingfisher 32 Cruiser
Designed by Sam Devlin
A 32 ft 9 in small passagemaker by Sam Devlin, styled after Northwest salmon trollers and intended for stitch and glue construction. It has two staterooms, two heads, a covered afterdeck, dinghy stowage above, a drum windlass and paravane stabilizers. Beam is 10 ft 1 in and draft 38 in. Power runs from 110 hp for an 8 knot cruise and a range over 700 miles to 300 hp for semi-displacement speeds and about 300 miles.
Only study plans are sold, with an invitation to contact the designer to develop the boat. It is a project for an experienced builder. As a rule of thumb, expect 5,000 to 7,000 hours. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
