A 33 ft outboard-powered cruiser for two by Sam Devlin, introduced in the March 2021 issue of Passagemaker magazine and intended for his stitch and glue construction. The designer describes it as just under 33 ft long and under 8 ft 6 in beam, with only 1 ft 2 in of draft with the outboard tilted and a displacement slightly over 7,000 lb.
Only study plans are listed in the Devlin shop so far, and the site gives no exact dimensions, so anyone wanting to build one should talk to the designer about construction drawings. A cruising boat of this length is a job for an experienced amateur. As a rule of thumb, expect 3,000 to 5,000 hours. Measured medians from build logs appear below.
