Dragonfly
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 17 ft 6 in stitch-and-glue garvey flats boat from Glen-L Marine with a squared bow for room, a recessed deck for a walk-around fishing platform and a windscreened cockpit. Flat bottom aft, vee forward, wrapped around a single building form; about 550 lb, outboards of 40 to 60 hp, 135 max.
A proven method used by many first-time amateurs. Budget 200 to 350 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
What building a Dragonfly actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
