La Chatte

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 15 ft 8 in plywood sailing catamaran from Glen-L Marine, sloop-rigged with twin daggerboards, about 270 lb. Like the smaller L Gato it planks each hull in one continuous piece of thin plywood and carries knocked down on a car roof: the cockpit tray sits on the rack and the hulls on the tray.

Two easy hulls and a fair amount of rig and fitting-out. Allow 150 to 250 hours. Hardware, rigging and sail kits are sold. Measured medians from logged builds are below.
