La Paz 22
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 22 ft 1 in trailerable center-console sportfisher from Glen-L Marine with a variable-angle deep-vee hull, wide chine flats and two lift strakes a side, a big self-bailing cockpit with raised casting platform, space for a portable head and seating for four. Double quarter-inch plywood bottom sheathed in glass, or welded aluminum; I/O to 1,200 lb or single or twin outboards. Length can vary 2 ft either way.
A rugged plywood build with full-size patterns. Budget 700 to 1,200 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
What building a La Paz 22 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
