A 22 ft 3 in trailerable express cruiser from Glen-L Marine with a central inboard over the center of buoyancy, so engine weight does not upset trim: 75 hp gives 20 knots, 180 hp about 31. An enclosed head, galley, dinette and vee berths for two or three, on a double-diagonal plywood bottom with sheet plywood sides. Glen-L publish a beam of 7 ft 11 in and a hull depth of 4 ft 0 in.
The bare hull comes out at about 1400 lb. Displacement is 3970 lb. Headroom below is 5'-6". The hull is a vee bottom, hard chine plywood double diagonal bottom, sheet plywood sides. For power they specify single centrally located inboard motor. They draw a matching trailer for her. Glen-L kept the construction as simple as the double-curvature bottom allows. Budget 900 to 1,500 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
