River Crawler 22
Designed by Sam Devlin
A 22 ft 2 in shallow-draft cabin cruiser concept by Sam Devlin, drawn for a customer who wanted trailerability, shallow draft, a displacement-type hull and a proper cruising cabin. Beam is 8 ft 2 in, with a keel that protects the running gear and allows beaching. Power is a small diesel saildrive under a hinged hatch, or possibly an outboard in a well. The cabin has an enclosed head, a galley, helm and co-helm seats behind big windows, and a v-berth that converts to a double.
The customer could not finish the project, so only study plans exist, and Devlin invites enquiries about developing construction plans. As a rule of thumb, a cabin boat like this takes 1,000 to 1,800 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.

Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
