Pug
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 13 ft 2 in electric double-ender from Glen-L Marine, a beamy vee-bottomed stitch-and-glue hull built either as a little tug with cabin and bulwark or as an open runabout. Two drive plans: a conventional shaft and strut with a separate DC motor, or a cheaper and simpler modified electric trolling motor. About 140 lb, seats two or three.
Easy to build by stitch and glue. Budget 150 to 300 hours, more for the tug cabin. Real hours from logged builds show below.
What building a Pug actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
