A 13 ft 1 in outboard runabout from Glen-L Marine that Glen-L calls an amateur builder's dream: a high-performance little boat proved on several prototypes towing skiers and jumping wakes. Vee-bottomed sheet plywood, about 350 lb, outboards to 40 hp, best in protected water. Glen-L publish a beam of 6 ft 0 in and a hull depth of 27 in.
They put the usual load at 2 to 4 people. The hull is a vee bottom hard chine developed for sheet plywood planking. They draw a matching trailer for her. The instructions carry more than 50 construction photographs of the prototype. Budget 180 to 320 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
