Roustabout
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 17 ft deep-vee runabout from Glen-L Marine with lift strakes, a bulbous keel and reverse-curve chines, drawn for fishing, skiing and offshore runs. Two lounge seats convert to full-length sunbathing lounges or berths. Sheet plywood; single or twin outboards to 135 hp or a stern-drive inboard.
A well-documented conventional plywood build with full-size frame patterns. Budget 350 to 600 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Roustabout actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
