Scrambler

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 15 ft 6 in outboard whitewater sled from Glen-L Marine, compact and nimble for tight, fast rivers, with five heavy frames, a half-inch bottom, an upswept pram bow and an integral splash rail. Sheet plywood or welded aluminum; 20 or 25 in shaft outboard with a jet pump or prop.

Easy to trail, easy to build and easy on the wallet, in Glen-L's words. Budget 300 to 500 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.

What building a Scrambler actually takes

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
