A 17 ft outboard cruiser from Glen-L Marine with head, berths and galley, a semi-enclosed toilet cabinet, a galley pass-through and a large cockpit with room for extra sleeping bags. Vee-bottomed sheet plywood; one or two outboards to 100 hp total in a concealed motor well. Glen-L publish a beam of 7 ft 2 in and a hull depth of 3 ft 2 in.
Headroom below is 4'-7". The hull is a vee bottom, hard chine, developed for sheet plywood planking. Power: Single or twin short shaft outboard motor to 100 hp total. Long shaft motor can be used if transom modified. They draw a matching trailer for her. A compact, trailerable first cruiser in conventional plywood. Budget 400 to 700 hours.
