Ski Bass
Designed by Glen-L Marine
An 18 ft deep-vee bass and ski boat from Glen-L Marine, a modified gull-wing vee bottom with bulbous keel, reverse chine and lift strakes, fore and aft casting decks, seating for four and 25 gallons of fuel. Sheet plywood, about 800 lb; a single outboard to 175 hp or a stern-drive or jet inboard to 750 lb.
A conventional plywood build with a lot of deck joinery. Budget 450 to 800 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
What building a Ski Bass actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
