A semi-displacement power catamaran of about 12.3 m, with slim, light hulls intended to run efficiently enough for long range cruising. The designer quotes a range of 900 to 1,000 miles at cruise from 1,000 litres of fuel, with cruising in the mid teens even on the smaller engines; recommended power runs from 50 hp to 125 hp shaft drive diesels.
The layout puts three private double cabins in the hulls, a galley and lounge with a dedicated steering console in the bridgedeck saloon, and a flybridge reached from the cockpit, with the option of a second helm up there for docking. Decks are flat and level from cockpit to forebeam. The kit is in DuFLEX balsa or foam, or plain foam, and the estimated build time is about 4,500 hours.
