A 22 ft (6.65 m) trailable sailing catamaran designed by Richard Woods of Woods Designs, with plans sold through Bateau / Boat Builder Central. The hulls are simple flat-bottomed dory shapes, which sit upright on a plain flatbed trailer and give 4 ft of headroom inside. Empty weight is about 1,000 lb, sail area 230 sq ft, and the short light mast is easy to raise. Plans are metric.
Plywood and epoxy stitch and glue in 6 mm ply with butt joints and glass sheathing; straight-sided bulkheads make marking out simple. Woods recommends it for less experienced builders. The page gives 350 hours ready to paint, or a 200 hour hull shell and 300 to 800 hours finished. Measured medians from build logs appear below.
