A 6.65 m (22 ft) trailable four-berth catamaran from Richard Woods of Woods Designs, with flat-bottomed dory hulls and decks in sheet plywood. Beam 3.9 m, about 400 kg empty, 20.9 sq m of sail, 1.22 m headroom and a draft of 0.25 m with the boards up. The flat bottoms let the hulls stand upright on their own, which eases both building and assembly from the trailer.
Woods calls it his best choice for a less experienced builder or sailor and for anyone who values simplicity. His published minimum is 350 hours to a basic fit out ready to paint, for someone who knows what they are doing, so a first-timer might budget 500 to 800.
