A 4.26 m tiller-steered fishing boat from Mark Bowdidge of Bowdidge Marine Designs in Australia, with a 20 degree deep-vee hull meant for rougher water than most boats of her length see. Beam is 1.82 m and draft 261 mm. She has an open cockpit, a forward casting deck, a recessed anchor locker, a 70 litre underfloor tank and a boarding step, and takes up to 40 hp. Trailer weight with motor and fuel is put at about 402 kg. Wheel steering is an option.
Construction is plywood with epoxy and fibreglass, built to level flotation from 12 plan sheets with full-size bulkhead patterns. Suitable for a careful first-time builder. With no designer figure available, allow 300 to 500 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
