A 4.56 m (15 ft) radius chine plywood mini sportboat by Dudley Dix, a little sister developed directly from his Didi Mini Mk3. It has two personalities. With a 50 kg bulb on the daggerboard it weighs 150 kg and works as a stable sportboat or picnic boat for four adults. Take the bulb off and it is a 100 kg trapeze dinghy. Sail area is 172 sq ft, and the topside chine and cockpit are stitch and glue.
The drawings are very fully detailed for amateur or professional builders, and CNC kits are sold in the USA and elsewhere. The rounded plywood hull is more involved than a flat-panel dinghy. Budget roughly 300 to 500 hours. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
