Silver Star 26/32

The Silver Star 26 and 32 are fiberglass excursion boats and houseboats by Dudley Dix, commissioned for sheltered dams, lakes and rivers, chiefly game-watching trips. The 26 is 25 ft 7 in (7.8 m) on deck and 27 ft 5 in overall with a 9 ft beam, and carries 26 people; the 32 carries 35. Each has a roofed main deck with galley, toilet and helm, a sundeck above and a low-wake hull. A family houseboat layout was drawn on the same 26 ft hull.

These were designed for a production builder working from moulds, and the page does not describe one-off or amateur construction. As a general rule of thumb, a fiberglass boat of this size takes 2,000 hours or more. Measured medians from build logs appear below.
