Nor'wester
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 25 ft 8 in trailerable sportfisher utility cruiser from Glen-L Marine on the Coronado deep-vee hull, configured for foul weather with a full-headroom cabin, inside helm and forward-raked commercial windshield. Vee berth for two or three, enclosed head, galley space and an 11 ft self-draining cockpit. Half-inch sheet plywood over seven patterned frames and stringers, or welded aluminum.
Glen-L calls construction easy with the full-size patterns. Budget 1,200 to 2,000 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Nor'wester actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
