A 25 ft 2 in walk-around sportfisher from Glen-L Marine with a single-level self-draining cockpit, full walkaround deck, big fuel capacity and a deep-vee hull with lift strakes and chine flats. Below, a 6 ft 6 in double berth with standing headroom, room for a head and twin lockers. Sheet plywood or welded aluminum; stern-mounted I/O or vee drive. Glen-L publish a beam of 8 ft 6 in and a hull depth of 4 ft 10 in.
The bare hull comes out at about 1500 lb. Displacement is 6450 lb. Headroom below is 6'-0". The hull is a hard chine full length deep vee with 18o min. deadrise, bulbous keel section, and lift strakes. Developed for sheet plywood planking (1/2" bottom, 3/8" sides), or welded aluminum plating (3/16" bottom, 1/8" sides). For power they specify stern mounted diesel or gasoline inboard motor connected to an outdrive or v-drive. They draw a matching trailer for her. Sheet plywood over frames at this size is a substantial but conventional build. Budget 1,200 to 2,000 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
