Bear Cat Cuddy

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 27 ft 10 in by 10 ft cuddy-cabin power catamaran from Glen-L Marine, the longer, wider sibling of the Wildcat with more displacement, tankage and load, on twin vee-bottomed planing hulls that take twin outboards to speeds in the 50 mph range. Sheet plywood over wood framing or welded aluminum with heavier scantlings; about 6,700 lb.

Amateur-proven methods, full-size patterns and no lofting. Budget 1,400 to 2,400 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
