Glen-L 13
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 12 ft 9 in cat-rigged plywood daysailer from Glen-L Marine with a roomy family cockpit and a rig one person can handle. Vee-bottomed hard-chine hull in quarter-inch plywood, about 260 lb; a matching trailer is drawn on the plans, and an outboard to 5 hp is allowed.
Developed with the amateur builder in mind and priced to match. Allow 150 to 250 hours. Glen-L sells frame, hardware, rigging and sail kits. Real medians from build logs are below.
What building a Glen-L 13 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
