A 9 ft stitch-and-glue kayak for children from Glen-L Marine, about 20 lb, cut from a single sheet of plywood with two watertight compartments for flotation. Patterns for a double-bladed paddle are included. Glen-L publish a hull depth of 9 in.
They put the usual load at 1 to 2 people. The hull is a double ended flat bottom kayak for Stitch-N-Glue sheet plywood construction. A weekend or two for an adult, with a child helping. Allow 15 to 30 hours. Medians from logged builds are below.
