Lo Voltage

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 15 ft 7 in electric launch from Glen-L Marine, stitch and glue in multi-chine plywood, driven by a golf-cart DC motor on 24 to 36 volts at 4 to 6 mph for about five hours, recharged from a household outlet. Seats two to five in a sociable cockpit, about 250 lb.

Full-size patterns for virtually every part including the planking make the hull simple; the drive is basic electrical work. Budget 150 to 300 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
