Pelegrin

Named from the old Norman French for a pilgrim or traveller, and drawn to the idea behind the word: a tough little ship for a week or two at a time, big enough for two, light enough to tow behind an ordinary family car, and seaworthy enough to cope with being caught out. The starting point was research into the small working sail of the English south coast around 1880, boats that were unassuming and uncommonly capable.
A 17 ft trailerable coastal cruiser with two berths, seats for five in the cockpit and 4 ft 9 in of sitting headroom. Ballasted with 245 kg and drawing 2 ft, so she is launched off a ramp and sailed home rather than kept on a mooring. Carries 166 sq ft and takes a 2 to 6 hp outboard.
