Drawn for a liveaboard couple who needed to cover 200 yards from the town jetty to their forty-footer, with two mature adults who described themselves as under-exercised, two fat Labradors that had to arrive dry, and the groceries. With three double cabins aboard the parent boat, ferrying a dinner party out in two or three trips was not acceptable either, so she had to carry six and still stow in the space available on deck. These tiny tenders also end up being the getaway boat at anchor, the children's toy, somewhere for a crew member to be alone, and the working platform for looking after the yacht.
A 9 ft tender drawn for a liveaboard couple who needed to get two hundred yards from the jetty to their boat, stable and beamy at 4 ft 5 in, and about 38 kg. A 43 sq ft sailing rig turns it into something to explore an anchorage in.
