A 6.1 m (20 ft) bridgedeck-cabin catamaran by Richard Woods of Woods Designs for sheltered water, only 2.5 m wide so it trails with nothing to assemble. Flat panel plywood and epoxy, about 680 kg empty, 20 sq m of sail on a rig that can come from a Hobie 16. A centre cockpit separates two single berths forward from an aft double, with 1.85 m headroom when moored. Woods calls it a motorsailer and rates it RCD Category D.
Woods says it is very easy to build alone in an ordinary garage and tells builders to allow 500 hours ready to paint. Painting and rigging come on top of that. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
