A 4.2 m (14 ft) singlehanded trimaran from Richard Woods of Woods Designs, drawn to be as quick and simple to build as he could make it. The hard-chine plywood main hull is related to his Zest and Duo dinghies, the small vee outriggers act as training wheels for an active sailor, and drop-in beams join on the centreline. Overall beam 3.4 m, 9.2 sq m mainsail with optional jib and screecher. His own boat weighed 73 kg without rig.
The materials list is short: about seven sheets of plywood and 3 kg of epoxy. Woods gives no hours, but his larger Strike 15 is estimated at 150, so budget 100 to 180 as a rule of thumb. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
