Power-Row Skiff 15.5
Designed by Glen-L Marine
The largest Power-Row Skiff from Glen-L Marine, a 15 ft 6 in flat-bottomed plywood skiff with the most room, stability and speed under power of the three, while still practical to row. Two bottom profiles are drawn on the plans, one rockered for rowing and one straight aft for planing with a larger outboard. Buoyancy chambers are built in.
Still a beginner's boat, just more of it. Sheet plywood over frames with full-size patterns and no lofting. Plan on about 120 to 220 hours for a first-time builder, or a winter of weekends. Real figures from build logs appear below once someone logs one.
What building a Power-Row Skiff 15.5 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
