An 11 ft 9 in rowing and sailing skiff by Iain Oughtred, light and fine-lined, with plans sold through the WoodenBoat Store. Beam is 3 ft 11 1/2 in and hull weight about 90 lb. She draws 6 in with the centerboard up, and the plans show sprit (44 sq ft), lug (45) and gunter (48) rigs. The seven sheets include a set of oar plans and come with 16 pages of notes from the designer.
Glued lapstrake plywood, with no lofting required, and the plans seller rates the skill level as basic to intermediate. Hanging fair, evenly lined-off laps is the part that rewards patience. No build time is published, so budget 200 to 350 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
